[ filter: teachers ]
I think after PTA we need to go for a drink. After listening to angry parents asking me how I could fail their child, which they deserve, it'll be needed. [ Spoiler: parents are dumb. Except her and Jeffypoo ]

[ filter: jeffypoo jefferson ]
Honey, is there anything we need picking up from the store? How's Grace's temperature?

[ spam: somewhere in town / anywhere in town / after school hours ]
[ She'd gotten out of school a little late, holding detention wasn't her idea of fun but she'd been called for it. She had her mental list of everything to do before going home, run to the store, quickly stop by at (friend's: want to be it?) house and, okay, she didn't have a list but there were a few things she had to do before going home. Home to her loving husband. But if someone stopped her first she would always stop to talk ]

[ spam: at home with the swans / melanie pick when this is ]
[ If there was one thing they were good at it was being sickly in love. Actually they were good at a few other things too, but those other things they kept to themselves, such as Emma's sneaky hands and Jefferson's... well, they don't talk about that. Emma had been out the night before, after the children were asleep, and had gone to 'acquire' something for Jeffypoo. She'd waited until the next night before showing him it, wrapping it slightly and again waiting for the children to be put to bed. He would love it ]

    Jeffy?

[ The call came from the living room, the lights dimmed with the 'object' sat on the coffee table, Emma on the couch. She was excited ]

[ PRIVATE: Admiral ]

I think we should talk. [ ... No, Emma, that's not how you do things. But she's not even sure if this'll get through/he'll answer ] It's about helping one of your inmates.

[ PRIVATE: Bruce Wayne ]

He didn't go for it.

[ She'd been sent home. There'd been adventures, lots of not quite fun adventures, and apparently now she was back. Yeah, she's as confused as the rest of you. And apparently tiny. What a great welcome back? ]

I'd wonder what's changed except I can't see the ceiling. [ She can... if she squints. It's really far away now. Being 7 inches tall is not a blast, just saying ] So. I've slept through a port, been sent home and brought back at whim... I'd mention dying but I'm not planning on chancing it. [ Not with Jefferson about. Or the rest of you murderous crazies ]

At least we're not children this time. [ We including her. Seeing the aftermath was one thing. Although: (quietly) ] This is close enough.

How many people have been affected this time? [ She'll ask her other questions later ]

[ Admiral ]
My deal better still be in place. [ She needed it doubly now ]

[ Jefferson ]
[ ... No. She'll catch up with you later ]

I'm not even sure I want to ask.

[ It would be nice to ask, to see what's happened since she made her deal, but at the same time she doesn't want to - she doesn't want to know, or want to talk to anyone just in case... and she doesn't know how long it'll last.

But at the same time? She can't help it. Her deal's driving her. And with a sigh: ]
Just- if there's anyone there, is Henry okay?

[ The feed shuts off after that, and it's around an hour before you hear her again, with a new question: ]

How often does this happen?

So. Wonderland. [ And doesn't this sound awkward already? It'll get better, she promises (Spoilers: it really won't. Tune out now!) ]

That's... that's where we were, the port. It's called Wonderland. [ And Emma's now realising that she probably should have planned this ahead, but she doubts that she'd ever know what to say (Spoiler: because she knows nothing about Wonderland - not the real Wonderland) ]

Firstly, yes there was a book on it. Not exactly a great book now that you've seen the real thing, but stories aren't always what they seem. [ TRUST HER ]

So, here's the deal... thing. Wonderland... kind of makes you crazy, which I'm guessing most people already figured out. [ Who was smart and stayed on the Barge? Anyone? ] And it's not just the place, the things there also change you... like the food. [ She saw it. She wasn't touching, she had a mission ]

And here's the reason: magic. [ No, really? But she's still getting to grips with it so maybe it does need repeating ] Magic can do all kinds of crazy things, like what you saw and a lot more.

Just... a warning. Just in case somewhere like this comes up again. [ And there's a small pause, before a not very reassuring: ] And if the Queen beheaded you? I'm pretty sure you'll be okay. [ Yup. She's done ]

VIDEO.
What happened to the kids? [ Those are fantastic first words, Emma, but it's a valid question. Why? In the past couple of hours since she's arrived she's looked through the communicator logs, and from suddenly seeing lots of kids to there now being none? Weird. Very suspicious. Someone's in Good Guy mode already (always) ]

And why were they here? I didn't think that would happen. [ Not that she really knows a lot, minus her own deal with the Admiral. Would he do that? Well, Gold probably would, or not, she doesn't know, but she's suspicious. She doesn't like deals, not when there are things that could be magic involved. And kids. Protect the kids ]

Right. [ Moving on. Slowly. She didn't actually introduce herself, did she? ] I'm Emma, and hopefully I've figured this out and I'm not just talking to myself. [ It is very likely to happen ]

I guess being new is obvious, and I'm a Warden. [ One day this all may (fully) sink in ] As for this? I know what I'm doing. I've actually done it before [ Kind of ] so just... keep that in mind. [ Yeah. This is turning out to be the worst introduction. Way to go, Emma! ]

And if anyone's got a welcome pack? [ Does the job come with guides? Hidden benefits? Weekends? ] I'd appreciate it. [ And she's done. And can sit and wonder what the hell she just did ]

ACTION.
[ A little later in the day you may be lucky enough to run into one Emma Swan. Or at least a blonde woman that looks pretty lost. Or confused. It's actually both. She was trying to just check out the locations, get her bearings (the kitchen would actually be nice) except she got turned around. Or just lost, she didn't actually go backwards. Give a girl a hand? ]
